Circle C Ranch Alumni News Update
Volume #2
HOWDY!!!
Hey all you former Circle C Ranchers! This is our second newsletter and we have
some great stuff we want to share with you. First of all we want to let you
know how the summer went, and then tell you about some amazing things God did
here this fall. We also want to share with you a couple of stories from former
staff members to help you catch up with some of the people who you may have
worked with and have lost touch with!!
Summer 2002
We had such a good summer, our attendance in campers was up about 5%. Our staff
was great, a very unified group of students who did a fantastic job. Our theme
was Seek and Save based on Luke 19:10. We did some things differently
this year to accomplish our goals a little better. For one thing, we got rid
of morning chapels and replaced them with small group time. Now the counselors
had a period every day to make sure they covered the marking your bibles for
soul-winning material and how to spend quality time with God. It was so cool
seeing kids in Miss Kates practicing leading each other to Christ! Along
with that we had over 215 first time decisions for Christ this summer and over
175 kids who came forward for assurance! That doesnt include the rededications
that happened every week!
From the kids: Hey guyz! i wanted to thank everyone at circle c! you guyz
changed my life forever.. i have come so much closer to god and my friends except
it! My life is going great! At camp you have all friends, no one cares what
you look like what shape or size you are or anything.. Summer of 2002 was my
3rd year and it was my favorite!! THANK YOU EVERYONE SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! You
saved my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i will have everlasting life! Thank you! and
please keep praying for me.

Fall 2002
This fall we had two Road Show Rally Days here at camp. What we do is open all
the camp facilities up from 2 until 6 PM on one Saturday in September and one
in October. Then at 6:00 everyone goes up to the Chapel for a Road Show Rally,
which includes music, games, improv comedy, drama, and a clear presentation
of the Gospel. Between the two days we had over 700 students here and over 100
came forward to give their lives to Christ! The really exciting part of this
is that almost all of the 100+ students who came forward were invited by friends
who had come to camp and were brought by youth groups. So these students will
be plugged into a youth group and be discipled! It is amazing to watch a para-church
organization like we are, partner so effectively with the local church! In the
end the harvest belongs to God!!
From the Leaders: Oh man we are so excited!!!! We have approximately right
now as of today about 38 teens coming down with us this Saturday for the rally.
What is even neater is alot of lost kids are coming with a major major need
for Christ, well all teens need Christ but you know what I mean. Alot of city
kids. We have these two boys that are coming.... Teachers have tried to help
him. I just spoke with his grandma tonight and she said he needs help so I explained
to her what Circle C is about and she said well I dont know if spiritual
help can help but we will try it COOL COOL!!! She said as long as they behave
they can come so I am praying and if you would too that nothing gets in the
way from them coming. They came to youth group last Wednesday night. Probably
their first time hearing the gospel it sound like. Also, sorry for all the rambling,
I am just so psyched!!! Also a little girl named Christina is coming she is
13 and she has never in her 13 years entered a church or knows anything about
Jesus or anything. She is coming also!!! Plus many more.

Coming up
As this newsletter goes out we are preparing for our snow camp season and we
would truly covet your prayers. We are scheduled to run 6 weekends of pure madness!!
Last year we packed it out with over 1200 teens and leaders. Over 125 students
surrendered their lives to Christ and over 330 stepped out to surrender an area
of their lives to God! We are praying that God will do even more this winter!
Here is just one of a ton of e-mail responses we got after snowcamp:
"Circle C has helped me so much! I can't believe 2 and a half days changed me. It just shows how much God can work through all of us. I also know God wanted me to go to Circle C this week, and believe me, next year I'll be back waiting to see what else He has planned for me there. Next year I think I'll invite some of my non-christian friends. I've also realized through camp that I really need to work to save them. So I'm praying hard. Thank you all so much for everything you do. You all, with God's help, could have very easily saved me from spiraling downhill into who knows where!"
We are also praying that God will provide the funds so that we can do more to reach this generation of students. We have plans and desires to see this ministry expand, but in order for that to happen we need the finances to do it. We know God is in control of it all, but I am also thinking that God may use some of you and the people you know who believe that reaching students for Christ is worth investing in.
If you know of any other alumni that hasnt received a newsletter, please let us know. That means we have lost touch with them and would love to get them back connected with camp. And if you would like to get in touch with someone you worked with let us know that to, if we can we will get you connected. You can contact us by the US Postal service:
