There are so many times we wonder if a certain activity that is not mentioned in the Bible is a sin or not. How can you tell if it is pleasing to God? Well, God did not mention every possible activity in the Bible, but instead He gave us principles with which we can judge any action, activity or thought. Use the Scripture and questions below to determine if something that is questionable is OK or not. God will always direct us through His Word, if we truly want to know the Truth!!

IS IT A SIN?

1) 1 Corinthians 6:12          Will what I'm about to do enslave or control me?

2) 1 Corinthians 8:12-13        Will what I'm about to do cause someone else to stumble?

3) 1 Corinthians 10:23         Will this decision build me up:
                                 Spiritually?
                                 Physically?
                                 Mentally?

4) 1 Corinthians 10:31         Will my decision in any way bring dishonor to Jesus Christ?

5) Romans 14:23              Is this decision doubtful, am I not sure if it's right or wrong?
